VOLUNTEERS power TBSC!

Terrace Brier Soccer Club  non-profit organization. We rely on volunteers to coach, serve on the board of directors, and assist with field maintenance. The club prioritizes keeping our costs low, maintaining a positive playing environment, hosting annual food drives and free clinics, offering financial scholarships, and working to ensure access to all children wanting to play regardless of age, gender, financial standing, skill level, or background – and we cannot do that without the support from dozens of volunteers.

As a 100 percent VOLUNTEER organization, we are looking to fill open positions. This will allow TBSC to thrive in the FALL SEASON and BEYOND. We hope you can help keep Recreational Soccer alive and join us.

To learn how you can volunteer with the club as a board member,
coach, field painter, or in any other capacity, please contact us at info@terrace-brier.org

Open board positions that we’d love to have you be a part of:

        • Vice President
        • Co-Registrar
        • Secretary
        • Micro Director
        • Equipment Director

Our Mission

Creating a safe and positive environment for everyone

Terrace Brier Soccer Club (TBSC) is a community-driven non-profit organization operated by volunteers committed to providing recreational soccer to kids aged 5-18 in the communities of Mountlake Terrace, Brier, and Lynnwood.

As a founding member of the North Sound Rec League (NSRL) under US Club and Washington Premier League (WPL), we collaborate with neighboring clubs from Everett, Mukilteo, Sno-King, Stanwood Camano, Granite Falls, and Snohomish to create an association that meets the diverse needs of our players and families.

Our goal is to offer every child a place on a team made up of other kids from their neighborhood. We strive to foster holistic player development, focusing not only on physical fitness, but also social and emotional growth. Terrace Brier Soccer Club offers an affordable solution for families looking for high-quality youth sport programs. Kids can stay active, make friends, and build confidence on the field.

Why Play Soccer With TBSC?

Our club is run entirely by volunteers which keeps our registration costs low and allows us to offer scholarships to those in need. We are passionate about youth soccer because we have played and believe that kids in the community should have access to the following benefits:

        • Physical Health: Participation in soccer promotes physical fitness, helping children develop strength, endurance, and coordination. Regular exercise reduces the risk of obesity, improves cardiovascular health, and fosters overall well-being.
        • Social Interaction: Through soccer, children have the opportunity to interact with peers, make friends, and build social skills. Working together as a team promotes communication, cooperation, and empathy, enhancing their ability to form positive relationships.
        • Skill Development: Terrace Brier Soccer Club focuses on skill development, teaching children fundamental soccer techniques such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. These skills not only improve their performance on the field but also instill a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.
        • Character Building: Soccer teaches valuable life lessons such as discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. Facing challenges, learning from setbacks, and demonstrating resilience on the field translate into valuable skills that children can apply in other areas of their lives.
        • Sense of Belonging: Terrace Brier Soccer Club provides a supportive and inclusive environment where every child is valued and accepted. Children feel a sense of belonging and camaraderie with their teammates, boosting their self-esteem and fostering a positive sense of identity.
        • Personal Growth: Participating in soccer encourages children to set goals, take risks, and push beyond their comfort zones. Whether it’s mastering a new skill or overcoming a fear of failure, children experience personal growth and development that extends beyond the soccer field.
